High Museum Art Partners Visit! Rescheduled!!

Art Partners, the elite volunteer division of the High Museum, is tasked with reaching out to the Atlanta art community and opening doors for their members that would otherwise be off-limits. I'm talking about access, about private viewings, tours, and lectures. Private collections, private museum tours, and most importantly.....visits to artists' studios.
On October 17th I have the honor of welcoming Art Partners into my world. A world steaming with sawdust, aromatic woods, crazy joinery, unfinished projects, experiments, commissions.... I plan to reveal my collection of original works of art, including sculpture and 2-D color and texture studies. Additionally several clients have agreed to loan some pieces for the show. These plus new studio pieces promise to make for a diverse collection of original work.
Aside from displaying my work and sharing my workshop, I will be discussing the creative process with my guests. How projects are realized from concept to completion, models, material interpretation, etc. This ties in closely with the other topic I wish to share..how unrelated creative fields and topics can influence my work and aesthetic.
