Urban Timber!!!

This is a topic that is very close to my heart.  Reclaimed materials have been a hot topic for years.  I know that I am wary of trends and find that the eco craze is full of them,. many with only slight justification.  Urban Forestry is a means of resourcing and processing valuable timbers that would otherwise go to landfills.  Due to human impact on trees, such as nails, bullets, and other foreign objects, the mainstream logging industry has ignored our urban forests for years.  Atlanta being one of the most heavily forrested urban areas in the country is an ideal place for this sort of enterprise.  By building careful alliances in the tree service, sawmill, and drying industry it is now possible to capture timber that would otherwise go to the dump and offer it for sale or re-utlilization in my fabrication and design services.  I offer my clients an exciting opportunity to access rare and old growth cuts of timber that are unequalled in other parts of the country.
