A little about myself.  I live in Atlanta and have for many years.  Atlanta is where I began my career and is the base of my business.  I have been a professional woodworker for 11 years.  My skillset is broad and includes experience with antique auto restoration, antique furniture restoration, contemporary furniture fabrication, carving, finishing, and even sewing.  I'm self taught and learned my trade from lifelong hands-on experience through my mothers antique business and subsequent years working for an antique importer.  By seeing how furniture wears I have developed my methodology to account for the wear patterns that I spent so long repairing.

In my life I have served in the Marine Corps, spent countless days and weeks hiking and camping across the country, and have committed untold hours to the study and preservation of history.  I have had the honor to work with Wide Awake Films on their emmy award winning documentary of the Battle of Franklin and continue to support historical battlefield preservation whenever time permits.

For those who wonder about the name 'Pegleg Studio.'  Many years ago I suffered a series of bad injuries to one of my legs.  This has resulted in a chronic and painful disability.  It has been, and continues to be, one of my life's greatest challenges.  I used to joke that I would make my own peg legs if ever it came to that extreme.  Yes, I have made some.  Maybe some day I'll do a show about the subject.
